The Leader will only honor this contract if all terms and conditions stated on all pages of this document have been met prior to and on the date of event as stated. .
Any alteration of times as stated in the enclosed document occurring due to actions by the client or parties acting on behalf of the client may result in the client incurring a further fee prior or post date of the said event.
It is agreed by both parties to this contract that the equipment and instruments of the musicians performing for the engagement are not available for use by other performers or persons except by specific permission of the musician.
It is the responsibility of the client to take all reasonable steps by way of stipulation in booking providing a venue for the engagement, to ensure a safe supply of electricity.
A safe lockable room must be provided for safe storage of equipment, personal belongings. This room should also be suitable as a changing room for performers.
Where acts are booked for periods of 4 hours or more provision of light refreshments must be provided by the client.
Cancellation of any part of the services to be provided by the leader must be made in writing.
Cancellation of any part of the services will result in the clients loss of any deposit fee made payable to the leader.
Cancellation of any part of the services to be provided by the leader made within 2 calendar months of the agreed event date will result in the client incurring a cancellation penalty fee at 50% of the total fee of act or acts.
Cancellation of any part of the services to be provided by the leader made within 2 full weeks of the agreed event date will result in the client incurring a cancellation penalty fee of the total fee of act or acts.
The leader will be responsible to provide a replacement act of equivalent style and quality should any act or acts be unable to perform at said event due to illness or accident. The client will be notified in writing where possible of any replacements act or acts and the replacement act will only be hired with the clients agreement.
Where it is not possible to hire a satisfactory replacement act the full fee for that act will be refunded to the client as soon as notification is made. A further compensation fee will be made payable to the client by the leader.
This agreement may not be modified or cancelled except by mutual consent, in writing and signed by both parties.
